What We Specialise In 


Yaalu Therapy Centre provides a comprehensive range of behavioral and developmental  services for children with autism and other neurodevelopmental conditions. Specializations  include:

 

Toilet Training  Individualized toileting programs using structured routines, reinforcement systems,  and data tracking to promote independence and reduce accidents. 

Transition Programs  Support for children transitioning into new environments—whether starting school,  changing classrooms, or adapting to new routines—using visual supports, social  narratives, and gradual exposure plans. 

Functional Communication Training (FCT)  Interventions designed to replace maladaptive behaviors with appropriate, meaningful  communication responses using verbal behavior techniques and augmentative or  alternative communication (AAC) tools. 

Cognitive Developmental Skill Training  Programs targeting executive functioning, problem-solving, working memory, and  attention regulation through structured, naturalistic, and discrete trial instruction. •

.Social Skills Development  Individual and group-based sessions focused on building pragmatic language,  cooperative play, and social understanding, with goals such as waiting, turn-taking,  sharing, and responding to social cues. Strategies include structured teaching, role-play,  and naturalistic interactions to support generalization across settings. 

Self-Care and Adaptive Living Skills  Step-by-step teaching of essential daily tasks including toileting, dressing, grooming,  and feeding reinforced with visual schedules and behavior shaping strategies. •

.Play and Leisure Skill Training  Therapist-facilitated sessions focusing on symbolic play, leisure exploration, turn taking, and imaginative play to promote age-appropriate engagement.

Emotional Regulation and Behavior Management  Comprehensive behaviour support plans incorporating antecedent strategies,  reinforcement systems, visual coping tools, and self-regulation techniques to reduce  problem behaviors and support emotional wellbeing.

The mission of Yaalu Therapy Centre  is to empower individuals with developmental  disabilities to reach their full potential  through evidence-based and compassionate ABA  therapy. Yaalu is committed to:

The team employs a variety of evidence-based interventions including Practical Functional  Assessment (PFA)  and Skill-Based Treatment (SBT), Discrete Trial Training (DTT),  Natural Environment Teaching (NET), and positive reinforcement systems  to create  lasting, meaningful progress.
